What Do I Need to Bring?
We offer a 'camping without the tent' site, you bring everything you normally would for a camping trip but instead of bringing a tent you get to cozy up in one of our insulated, heated camping pods. No more wash out weekends!! If you find that you don't have all the camping bits you need or if you'd like to Glamp it up a bit then why don't you check out our extras and take a bit of the hassle out.
Do I Need Wellies?
It depends what you'd like to do and on the weather! Our car park is stone and our communal section and paths are laid with bark chippings so they aren't necessary for the site - you just have to decide what else you'd like to do!
Do You Allow Dogs on Site?
Friendly, well behaved dogs are so very welcome! We ask that you clean up after them, keep them out of the play area and please put them on a lead when you leave the main site.
Do You Allow Groups?
Yes! Everyone is welcome here! We only ask that you are respectful of our other guests and neighbours. Let us know your plans and we will try to keep you together. If, however, your group becomes rowdy or upsets anyone we do reserve the right to ask you to leave.
Do You Allow Campfires?
What sort of campsite would we be if we didn’t? We ask that you don't bring your own but please use ours, we use fire pits to protect the grass and a fabulous tripod BBQ because its so much fun! We, however, have to be safety conscious, please follow our campfire rules and keep an eye on it! Check out our Extras page to get some more information on our super cool fire pits and BBQs
Do You Allow Supermarket Deliveries on Site?
No, please don't order deliveries. There is a fabulous shop in the village. Why don't you check out our brill recipes in the Cookhouse, they are perfect for cooking up a storm with our tripod BBQ found in our extras

Are Tents/Caravans/Motorhomes Welcome?
I'm sure all caravans, mobile homes and tents are lovely but we are a pod site and just have pods. If you'd like to come and stay anyway there is plenty of parking or check out our friendly neighbour site about half a mile away, just google Field Barn Park.
Are There Washing Facilities on Site?
We offer showers and personal hygine amenities but for clothing I'm afraid not at the moment. It's something we are looking into but waiting to see if there is demand. There is a fab big sink in the Cookhouse Cabin though if you'd like to hand wash some clothes, just please don't put anything wet on the radiators!
Can I Drive to my pitch/Park Next to My pitch?
I'm afraid we prefer free range children and dogs to free range cars! We have a great roomy car park just next to the main site - super easy!
Do I Need to Bring Towels?
Unless you have booked our fantastic beds bundle, which includes fluffy towels, yes you will need to bring towels
What Are the Arrival and Departure Times?
We can't wait to meet you! Check in is between 3pm and 5pm and check out is before 10:30am but we'll be sorry to see you go!!
Can I Recharge My Laptop?
Yes of course, our pods come fully insulated, heated and with plug sockets!
How Many People Can Stay in a Pod/bell tent/yurt?
Our lovely units are so so cozy and roomy! They can house two adults sharing or a family of 5. However there isn't enough space for more than four adults
What Is in the Pods?
The Pods are fully insulated, heated and have power and a built in double bed. This is camping without the tent. If however you'd like to 'glamp' it up a bit check out our amazing extras!!
Can We Use Fireworks or Chinese Lanterns for Celebrations?
While we encourage celebrations of all sorts (why not?!!) and we don't want to be party poopers; the animals on the farm really don’t like fireworks and find them scary. Moreover, our local timber-framed barns that store nice dry straw and hay definitely don’t like Chinese lanterns. So if you could refrain from anything that could cause a fire or scare animals, we would all be much happier (especially the cows!). If you are still unsure and want to double check anything do email Kim on firstname.lastname@example.org.
How Far Is the Nearest Pub?
You have a pick of a few down in the village less than a mile away or we have a lovely one by the river in Barrington just a short drive away.
Are There Any Local Takeaways?
We don't really have a lot of takeaways around here but there are a couple of fish and chip shops in the village that are worth checking out. They don't deliver though and we don't like deliveries on site.
